    • Over the past 4 years, Invested over $20 million into affordable housing creation and preservation.

    • Secured $85+ million in expected affordable housing funds in the next 15 years

    • South San Francisco officially recognized by Governor Gavin Newsom, putting South San Francisco first in line for state funding for affordable housing and infrastructure. South San Francisco has already been awarded over $800,000 to preserve existing affordable homes because of this.

    • Cut the ribbon to 150 affordable homes, with 200+ more in the pipeline.

    • $200,000 invested into an anti-displacement plan to keep families and seniors in their homes.

    • Embedded a mental health professional within our first responder system

    • Created the city's first ever commission on equity and public safety to oversee our systems of public safety and bring resident input into our decision making.

    • Invested in technology to help prevent and solve crime.

    • Crime has gone down:

      • 12% Reduction in stolen vehicles

      • 43% Reduction in Commercial Burglaries & Attempts

      • 12% Reduction in Vehicle Burglaries

      • 62% Reduction in Catalytic Converter Thefts

      • 29% Reduction in Sexual Assaults

      • 16% Increase in Getting Illegal Firearms off our streets

    • Over the past 4 years, Invested $40+ million into roads and infrastructure improvements

    • Brought back $60 million in federal, state, and county funds to South City.

    • Opened new Library and Parks and Recreation center

    • Opened new Orange Park Soccer and Baseball fields

    • Started construction on TWO new Orange Park pool(s)

    • Secured $9 million for new state-of-the-art Buri Buri fire station

    • Completed new South City Caltrain Station

    • Passed environmental “reach codes” for new building construction, ensuring new buildings are green.

    • As a Director for Peninsula Clean Energy, successfully voted to keep residential electricity rates LOW for households all across San Mateo County, while PG&E raised rates.

    • Updated and passed new South City Climate Action Plan

    • Encourage residents to take advantage of city's residential tree program to increase urban tree canopy and beautify our neighborhoods.

    • In the process of soon banning the sale of polluting polystyrene.

    • Expanded Free Shuttle service to District 4, connecting Avalon, Southwood, Buri Buri, Serra Highlands, and West Winston Manor to Westborough and BART.

    • Secured $25+ state million grant for transportation infrastructure.

    • Invested $40 million in road improvements and infrastructure.

    • Achieved Age Friendly city designation

    • Remodeled the Roberta Teglia Senior Center

    • Passed San Mateo County’s first $5 Hazard Pay ordinance for essential workers during the pandemic.
